Firefox Security Tweaks

Mozilla Firefox – Security & Privacy Tweaks to improve your privacy and anonymity when browsing.

Step 1: Must have – Addons

| uBlock | No Script | HTTPS Everywhere | User Agent Switcher |

Step 2: Tweak the – Options Menu


Set home page

Enable: Always ask me where to save files


Set Default Search Engine: DuckDuckGo.



Enable: Use Tracking Protection in Private Windows  & Click on: manage your Do Not Track settings, Enable: Always apply Do Not Track.


Firefox will: Use custom settings for history & Enable Only: Clear history when Firefox closes.

Location Bar 

Disable: History, Bookmarks, Open tabs


Enable Only: Warn me when sites try to install add-ons


Data Choises – Disable everything

Step 3: type about:config in the address bar and press Enter
